Morley's Final Catalogue: Late confirmation has emerged of the Revd. H. Harpur Crewe's record of this species' occurrence at Battisford, circa 1858: Mr Goddard secured one at Mildenhall in 1936. The Earth-nut flourishes all over our county.

Recent Suffolk Status: Extinct.

Life history: Single-brooded. A day-flying species, seen in meadows containing the foodplant.

Identification: Unmistakeable.

Habitat: Flowery grassland.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.

First Recorded in 1858.
Last Recorded in 1936.
